I hate when new people talk to me, or someone that I’ve known for awhile who really had no interest starts talking to me. They make me feel special, like I mean something, and I get addicted to them without realizing it. Even worse if they think I’m beautiful and tell me things to make me feel good about myself, because then I can’t stop thinking about them, like I’m obsessed. It’s not love, but just the feeling of having a friend, and you don’t want to lose them so you hold onto it with everything you have. Then they just stop. Stop talking to you. Stop acknowledging you. Stop everything. The empty feeling comes back. You’re depressed and alone again. It was only a temporary thing.
